Corfu Buddha Hall is in Magoulades, a village in the north-west of the island. It’s around 45 km or a 1-hour-drive from Corfu Town, the island’s capital and where the airport, ferry port, and bus station are located.
Corfu, called Kerkyra in Greek, is a popular holiday destination. Several airlines and low-cost carriers serve the island from/to most European destinations. We advise you to book early as affordable tickets sell out fast for the high season.
Ferries arrive daily from mainland Greece and from several ports in Italy. Daily bus services from/to Athens, Thessaloniki and many other Greek cities are another option.
Once you arrive to the island, there are several ways to get to Corfu Buddha Hall:
Taxis are the easiest and most common way to get here.
If you take a taxi at the airport, the cost varies between 65-85 € each way. However, we highly recommend you book your taxi in advance, as in high season you might have to wait a few hours before you can actually get one. Also, not all the taxi drivers will know where to go.
Corfu Buddha Hall works with a reliable taxi service that we recommend: mycorfudriver
Simply send an email to http://www.mycorfudriver.gr to book your taxi transfer to/from the airport. You will be asked to fill in your precise arrival/departure time, flight number, and the number of people. They have a set price of 60 euros each way, so it is cheaper than normal. Taxis should be booked beforehand, at least 24-48 hours before arrival or departure. If cancelled within 24 hours, you have to pay the full amount. If you book through the website you can find Corfu Buddha Hall under ‘destinations from / to’
If you want to organise the transfer of your group, or part of the group from the airport to Arillas/Magoulades ( in case people are on the same flight or flights with little time difference ) you can also send an email to MyCorfuDriver ( email@example.com ) and ask them to pick you up in a luxurious mini van that can transport up to nine people. From seven people onwards it will cost only €15,- per person.
If you have a problem or you want to have a confirmation of any kind, you can send them an email or, call them
